BANDSINTOWN
ABOUT
Bandsintown is a platform that connects artists and fans, helping you discover concerts from the artists you follow or discover. With the app, you can receive notifications about tours and bands playing in your area.
IDENTITY
To get music lovers excited about their favorite artists and upcoming concerts, it was
important to update the app's visual identity. I refreshed the brand with a gradient pop of color, a user-friendly typeface, and icons that make navigating the app easier.

REWORK
The app has been redesigned to make it easier for users to navigate. New features have been added, such as a "Listen Now" tab (similar to Shazam), a calendar tab for keeping track of your favorite artists, and a tab to store and access tickets easily with the barcode readily available for you to show at the front door of your next concert.
FOLLOWING & DISCOVER
I aimed to simplify the app and provide more relevant content to the user when reworking it. To achieve this, I condensed the screen for following and discovering artists, while allowing users to preview more information about the artist.
ARTIST INFO
In addition to providing concert details, I aimed to give users the opportunity to explore more about the artists themselves. This includes previewing their music, watching videos, and purchasing tickets directly through the app.
LISTEN NOW
Reimagining the user’s experience, I included a "Listen Now" tab, similar to Shazam. This feature enables the user to listen to music from anywhere and follow new artists on the app.
WATCHLIST & TICKETS
Bandsintown's primary function is to assist in finding concerts nearby. However, it also offers an organizing feature for the user's watchlist of artists and purchased tickets, which can be accessed in their profile tab. This feature enables the user to keep track of upcoming events on their calendar and conveniently store and scan their tickets, all within
the app.
